DVSA Chief Executive, Loveday Ryder, has been announced as a key speaker at Young Driver Focus 2022.

The conference is taking place on 25th May at the the magnificent Royal Automobile Club, Pall Mall .

Focusing on young drivers

It is the 7th year for the conference that focuses on road safety issues, developments and solutions in the UK.

Loveday Ryder will join Baroness Vere of Norbiton (Under Secretary of State for Transport) and Pauline Reeves from DfT, Edmund King OBE (president of the AA), Shaun Helman from Transport Research Laboratory, and Liz Box of the RAC Foundation.

The head of DVSA will update delegates on all the latest developments at the government agency. Particular focus will be on their ‘safe driving for life’ ethos, along with how DVSA intends to help the next generation of driver become the safest yet.

The highly successful conference will also have academics from The University of Edinburgh and University of Nottingham. These experts will be discussing important topics and imparting knowledge on topics form training in virtual reality, to vehicle technology of the future and best practise for young driver focused interventions.

Gen-Z marketing experts will also be on hand to share their insight and experience. This can be a huge help in developing and deploying young driver campaigns that hit the spot. With young people spending so much time on social media and YouTube, knowing how to make the most of these platforms is essential to success.
