The new ‘Safe Driving for Life’ (SDFL) website goes live.

As the official publishing partner for the DVSA, TSO welcomes users old and new to their website.

The SDFL website supports learner drivers and riders with their theory and practical tests. The resources will help them become life-long safe drivers or riders. It has a fresh, new look, and easy-to-navigate usability. This  provides learners with everything they need to stay safe on Britain’s roads now and in the future.

Supporting you

The DVSA eLearning site now makes it possible for instructors to create a free account too. They can then invite their pupils to share their theory test learning progress.

Viewing pupils’ learning journeys can help you as an ADIs. It means you can tailor lessons to cover specific areas of importance. Working together using shared resources help build learner confidence and understanding.

Instructors also earn points every time their pupils use their referral code. Points you earn can then be redeemed for Amazon Gift Cards.

Preparing them

One of the new features is called the ‘measure of test readiness’. This tracks the learner’s progress and helps them decide when they’re ready to take the theory test. It is achieved by monitoring their driving theory knowledge and understanding. They can discuss this information, their understanding, issues and progress with you. It means that you’re both confident that learners are best prepared for the test.

The online learning experience simulates the real test environment. It means that learner drivers and riders are familiarised with the format of the theory test. This will help reduce stress levels and candidate nerves on test day.

All you need

Popular content from the old website has also been transferred across. This includes free practice theory tests, the shop and informative blogs. Put together, it provides learners, trainers and drivers with the help and information needed to produce safe rivers for life.
