What do you think?
Last chance to have your say with the DVSA
From the DVSA:
Tell us what it’s like working as an ADI in 2024
There’s still time for you to share your experience of working as an ADI.
Thousands of other ADIs have already filled in the survey to share their experiences.
It takes between 10 to 20 minutes to do – but the deadline is 11:59pm on Monday 30 September.
What’s in the survey
The survey includes questions to help DVSA and ADI associations understand more about:
• the challenges you’re facing
• the support you get from DVSA
• what it’s like when you visit a DVSA test centre
• your health and wellbeing
The survey does not ask for your name or ADI number – it’s completely anonymous. Individual responses will not be shared or published.
How to take part
The survey takes about 10 to 20 minutes to fill in. It closes at 11:59pm on 30 September 2024.
By filling in the survey, you’ll be helping to give us the fullest picture of the driving instructor profession in Great Britain’s history.

What happens next
We’ll publish a summary of the survey results on GOV.UK and send you a link to view them later in the autumn.
We’ll use the information you tell us to help us plan and improve our services for ADIs and learner drivers.
Thank you for your time – we know how busy you are.
