Mike helps PDI’s and ADI’s with training and business CPD to maximise their potential. Whether it is Training to become an ADI, Standards check Success or wanting to become a PDI Trainer, Mike and the team at DRIVE have the resources to help you become the best instructor you can be.
The day you’ve been counting down to has finally arrived!
We all know the feeling approaching a Part 3 test or Standards check – but your success on the day is down to more than just the 45 minutes of the test itself.
Find out everything you can do to maximise your scores in the test and ensure you’ve done as much work as possible behind the scenes to make that 45-minute test as easy as possible.
Understanding how the chunks of your lesson flow will not just make your test easier, but also better prepare your pupils for a lifetime of safe driving and guarantee your job satisfaction.
A little planning can go a long way, when done right!
Five take outs you’ll get from this online session:
- When does the real test begin – when the examiner gets in the car, or when the pupil gets out after their last lesson?
- What’s going on? You know what is happening during your lesson, so does your pupil, but how can you ensure your examiner understands what will happen?
- Is learning taking place, and if so, how do you prove, not just show, this to the examiner?
- What if the lesson doesn’t go the way I thought it would do? Understand the importance of contingency plans when it comes to targeting learning needs during your test.
- How can I ensure my route is suitable for my client, and their Current ability during the test compared to their ability 20 minutes before the test started?
