Last month, we launched the Intelligent Instructor Awards 2026 in association with Dash Instructor Cover.There’s been a fantastic buzz around the awards, and we’ve already received many outstanding entries. 

The awards aim to find the very best instructors, driving schools, and suppliers in the industry!

Entry is free, and we want your entries and nominations; after all, you or someone you respect could be a winner.

As a reminder, you have until 14th December to send us your entry.

Here are the key dates you need to be aware of:

  • 14 December 2025 – Entry deadline
  • w/c 22 December 2025 – Shortlist announced, and public voting opens
  • 16 February 2026 – Judging panel submits scores
  • 23 February 2026 – Public voting closes
  • 21 March 2026 – Winners announced at the Intelligent Instructor Gala Dinner

Award winners will be officially announced atthe Intelligent Instructor Gala Dinner.
Our winners will be decided by combining public votes and independent industry judging panel scores.
Intelligent Instructor award winners will be officially announced at the Gala Dinner at Kents Hill Park, Milton Keynes, on Saturday, 21st March ’26, on the eve ofThe Driving Instructor Convention. All Gold, Silver and Bronze winners’ trophies for each category will be presented.

More prizes

This year, there are a record 20 award categories, including four new ones: 

  • Road Safety Initiative of the Year, Social Media Influencer of the Year
  • Training Provider of the Year: Independent and Driving Schools (two categories)
  • The Driving Instructor of the Year is divided into 11 regional awards, as well as an overall national winner.
