Make the most of your industry

Running a business on your own can be a lonely affair, and one with many hurdles to clear. The ADINJC & Intelligent Instructor National Conference & Expo ’23 is the place to meet and make friends, network, update skills and understanding, even invest in new equipment.

There’s even a new headline sponsor for the expo –  AccidDON’T Driving School.

AcciDON’T deliver license acquisition training on several national contracts. Currently they teach over 5,000 students each year for the Army, Navy and RAF.

“We are delighted,” says Simon Johnston, MD, AcciDON’T Driving School. “It’s the industry leading event and helps raise the bar within the driver training industry. Much like our values, it pushes boundaries, continues to innovate and delivers a first class service for instructors, both new and old.’

Be there or….

Expo ’23 is being held at Newark showground, Nottinghamshire, Sunday 8th October. It expects to see the largest gathering of driving instructors in the UK ever, with over 900 visitors anticipated.  Free to enter if your register online, you’ll be greeted with over 25 seminars running throughout the day, 40+ industry suppliers and plenty of great fun activities to enjoy on the day.

A trial of a PDI Zone in the recent Expo South proved a huge success. For the national event this will be expanded to help PDIs.

“We’ve lined up some amazing trainers,’ states Richard Storrs, a founder of Intelligent Instructor and Director at FirstCar. “This will undoubtedly help those new to the industry, providing them with an even better chance of passing their Part 3 and be ing successful driver trainers and business people”.

See and be seen

There will be plenty of great speakers there on the day to impart their knowledge, help and comment.

Loveday Ryder, CEO, DVSA is a headline speaker, but there will also be industry favourites including Lynne Barrie,  Ray Seagrave and Bob Morton.

This conference has everything you need, along with advice, information and anecdotes from those with a wealth of experience. From Standard’s Check to developing your skills as a driving instructor, running your own business to marketing your skills.
