DVSA asks for your help:

The DVSA is rerunning the ADI demand survey, to learn more about the current demand for driving lessons and tests.

What it’s all about

The survey looks to get further insight from you into the challenges faced by you and your pupils as result of the pandemic.  The results will help us assess if the situation has improved since we last ran the survey.
In addition to questions about the demand for lessons, we are also hoping to seek your views and get a better understanding into why learners cancel their tests last minute, and how often instructors display their badge during tests.

Coming soon

We will shortly be launching a consultation on a package of measures that will help make sure learner car drivers are properly prepared for their driving test to help reduce the current test waiting times and give greater flexibility to provide more car tests.

We have included questions in this survey relating to some of the proposals to allow you to give us additional feedback to supplement the consultation and help us assess the impact of the proposed changes.

We will let you know when the consultation is live.

Previous ADI demand survey results

We will publish the results of the last ADI demand survey when our consultation goes live so that you can see the results from last year to see if you are still facing the same level of demand for lessons.

We also want to show you how your feedback has helped us to forecast and shape how we recover the driving test service.
