Whilst driving lessons in England have been running since the beginning of July, instructors in other parts of the Great Britain have had a longer wait. Lessons in Wales have been back up and running for a week now and finally, Scotland has a target date.

The news will be very welcome to our colleagues across Scotland, however we still await a date for the resumption of Practical tests. As the DVSA look to catch up with postponed tests, all areas are yet to announce when learners who did not have a test booked before the shut down will be able to book one.

The approach taken by each country has varied, with Wales only just relaunching Theory tests today (3rd of August), but having restarted lessons on the 27th of July.

Scotland has taken a different approach, with Theory tests starting on the 22nd of July, over a month before the resumption of driving lessons.
