The shortlisting for the Intelligent Instructor Awards 2024 in association with AcciDON’T Driving School is out.

It has already proved to be a record breaking process with thousands of nominations by pupils for the Driving Instructor of the Year category.

All the other categories have also witnessed incredible numbers of submissions for the bounty of trophies being supplied by the ADINJC.

Your choice

With this year’s process off to such a glittering start, we now need your help in choosing our winners.

By casting your votes you are participating in the industry’s biggest awards competition. What’s more, you are playing a valuable role in recognising and supporting the champions of our profession.

Our expert, fully independent judging panel, will now start the process of assessing all of the shortlisted entries. However, it is you that counts, whether that’s by voting, being nominated or, fingers crossed, being a winner.

Perfect combination

The winners for each category will be the ones who have achieved the highest combined ranking from our two voting methods. Equal weighting will be applied to each – the judging panel and the public vote.

Top trainer

Perhaps the most important category for you is the Driving Instructor of the Year.

These have been split into 11 regions, with Winners and Highly Commended awards per area. Then there is the top awards for one instructor – to be crowned ‘Intelligent Instructor’s Driving Instructor of the Year 2024’.

The winners

All winners will be presented with trophies, kindly supplied by the ADINJC, at The Driving Instructor Convention, 11th May 2024.

The convention is a brand new event that looks to provide ADIs who want to learn and achieve more. There are expert multi-disciplinary trainers, top instructors and top industry professionals to impart their advice, top tips and incredible knowledge. So whilst you may leave the event with a glittering award, everyone will be leaving with outstanding rewards from t convention.
