Here’s what’s on the agenda this year –

The main conference programme will include the following sessions:

Routes to success – the 4 ‘E’s
A series of presentations from national road safety stakeholders covering the latest thinking with regard to ‘enforcement’, ‘education’, ‘engineering’ (roads and vehicles) and ‘evidence’.

Speed dating for road safety professionals
A series of quick fire presentations by road safety practitioners, backed by poster presentations, outlining schemes and interventions they have, or are currently, implementing. All presentations will relate to road safety education, enforcement or engineering and be backed by evaluation/evidence.

Focus on cycling
A series of presentations covering cycling-related topics which may include some or all of the following: cycling towns and cities, cycle hire schemes, e-bikes, cycling infrastructure, anti-social cycling, cycling for work (deliveries etc), cycle training initiatives etc

Topical topics
A series of quick fire presentations covering a wide range of topics.

Question Time
This session is always one of the highlights of National Conference.

Hot topic
Can ’Safe Drive, Stay Alive’ style interventions change behaviour and save lives?
Following on from the 2017 National Conference, when there was a passionate discussion as part of the Question Time session, this session will feature three 10-minute presentations, followed by questions from the audience.
