On Saturday 3 June, ADI Keith (Woody) Woodward will be walking 18 miles from Margate to Whitstable.

This is all part of his campaign to raise awareness of prostate cancer and raise money for help to raise funds for treatments.

Silent killer

Prostate cancer is now the fastest growing of all cancer issues.  Around 1 in 8 men will unfortunately be diagnosed like Woody.

Woody is now stage 4 and has fractures in his back caused by metastatic tumours.

“I’m hoping my body will hold up for this challenge,” says Woody. “A couple of tumours and three fractures in my vertebrae will make it a tad more difficult, but I’m going to do it.”
