AA fuel report – June 2019 prices
It seems as though fuel prices have fallen slightly this month, but will this continue?
- Unleaded prices have dropped 0.4p from 128.8 p/litre to 128.4 p/litre.
- Diesel prices have fallen 1.9p from 134.3 p/litre to 132.4 p/litre.
- The price difference between diesel and unleaded is down to 4 p/litre.
National and Regional
Petrol
Highest – South East has recorded the highest price for unleaded at 129.2 p/litre.
Lowest – Northern Ireland has recorded the lowest price for unleaded at 126.6 p/litre.
Diesel
Highest – Essex and East Anglia and the South East have recorded the highest diesel price at 133.4 p/litre.
Lowest – Northern Ireland has the cheapest diesel at 129.6 p/litre.
Supermarkets
Supermarket prices for unleaded now average 124.0 p/litre. The gap between supermarket prices and the UK average for unleaded has grown to 4.4 p/litre.
