COVID-19 update from the DVSA: theory test centre locations for critical workers

To help critical workers get an emergency theory test at a location that is more suitable to them, we will be opening an additional 25 theory test centres across the UK.

If you have booked a test for any of your pupils during these dates, you will need to contact them to let them know that their test has been cancelled.

Bill Plant Driving School launches online theory test lessons with driving instructors

During the current lockdown, Bill Plant Driving School have launched Online Theory Test Lessons, in partnership with Driving Test Success, to allow pupils plenty of practice to best prepare them for their Theory Test, when they’re reinstated.

Due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, all theory tests have been cancelled until Friday 8 May 2020

DVSA are emailing anyone with a test booked during this time to let them know their test has been cancelled and that they will be automatically refunded.

You cannot currently apply for a new provisional licence because of coronavirus (COVID-19).

You can still apply if you’re a key worker - for example, a doctor, nurse or school teacher.
